I ride a Cannondale 440. There is a fitting attached to the bottom of the gas tank and it leaks when the fuel line is connected. It stops leaking when its disconnected from the tank or is running. I think I have to replace that fitting. Anyone know where to get it??

Thx!

check the oring on the outside of the male fitting first sounds like it may be cut. if you do not lube
the oring before connecting it it will cut easily.

I second quadracer500, leaking when connected is a result of that o-ring being torn. Either of the above mentioned sponsors can send you the o-rings for just a few bucks.

Don't forget a cracked fuel hose or possible loose clamp as well. But, I agree the o-rings are more common. Disconnect it and look at the outside of the o-ring on the fitting, does it look like it is not completely round? If so it is just the o-ring.
