Warped Lug Nuts

Shocks, a-arms, swingarms, tires, brakes, etc..

I took my front wheel of the hubs for the first time since i got the quad...the lug nuts were warped? the rims are like new itp t-9 baja rims? What causes this?

I just have to say that is impossible.........and then ask are you sure you are talking about the lug nuts?

NO!!! I was dumb struck myself.....they "wobble as i took them off. The face of the lugnut is distorted almost like a wave....it can be clearly be seen when taking them off...the wheels have deep scratches in them...This was not an issue with my rear lugs...i really was surprised and have no idea what to think about it...lol...

sounds like there was some play in there somewhere....maybe the lugs werent tightened down correctly -ie- one across from the other.

ok...i put one up later but you cant really see the warpage till you spin the nuts...and nothing else seems off

nothing really is visible from the pics...i put a square on the studs and the see to be straight?

So when it spins on the threads is it still flat? It may be fine . the hole might not have been drilled dead center in the nut. The old quality control issue.

It looks to me like someone used a impact on the nut.Twisting it.
