Did Motos ever come with a smaller battery? Yesterday in my surfing around I swear I saw somewhere that the stock moto battery was a 5 instead of a 9?

I read that too a few months ago! I wonder if that was an original spec. Mine had a 9 when I bought it from the collector who previously owned it. It was the stock battery.

...Batteries were installed by the dealers. I could imagine some dealer that would have just put in a Cannondale Motorcycle battery instead,.... the "5" with a puny 70 cca. Could be a similar reason for printing wrong info.
