I need an IACV for my 460. I was a dummy and stripped out the end of the plunger and now i cant thread it in.

Tim said he knows one off of a car or truck fits just cant remember which one. Anyone know? What are Brad and Dave getting for oem ones? Anyone have one layin around?

Need to get this fixed before the weekend.

Can you move to a larger screw or helicoil/machine screw combo? Perhaps I am miunderstanding which part you stripped.

Well I have only had it apart once about 3 weeks ago and put it back together. Now its giving me fits and I knew that I messed up that plunger but I put it back in anyhow. I went to start it today and it's idleing all over the place starting like $hit...ect. So I know the problem.

The threaded rod that moves the plunger in and out won't thread into the plunger because I stripped it trying to pull it open.

Piece of sheetmetal Alum cut in same shape is a better replacement.
