I do it using a vise. Put some padding on the vise then tighten the vise down then when you cant clamp it anymore whack the vise with a BFH. Most times once they break free you can keep just using the vise. If you have a press it is much easier tho. I wish i could find the studs in SS tho that would be really nice.

If you use wheel spacers and stud extenders its a good idea to finish tapping the threads so they dont get bound up when they reach the unthreaded part.
