So I was having some electrical problems, had a bum battery. Got that fixed, but I think I might have fried the fuel pump in the process. I was making a whining noise and now it just gets hot and doesn't kick on when I give it power. Any Ideas Guys?

Well, you could try blasting the pump free and back in to the fuel tank, by using an air hose in to the pump inlet line. Just tapping on the pump might not free it up, and powering it while it's locked up will burn it out. You can fill that same line with a mild solvent like WD-40, liquid wrench etc, and follow with pulses from an air noozle into the hose -- if the pump motor is still good, that should free up the gerotor inside. Remove the fueltank cap and fuel filter, and plug the downline from the tank,... just to avoid a gas-spitting mishap back on your pantleg! good luck....you still have a 50-50 chance.
