clutch kit?

yeah im just try to refresh this bike more or less,whenever one buys a used machine,theres never a way of telling what you have.I just wondered if there was anything else out there for clutches besides stock.I heard stock clutches are good on the c dales,yeah right i guess c dale thought the stock cranks were too...
I guess the early ones had more and thinner frictions, aluminum plates and weak springs that were not very durable.
But the thick frictions, steel plates and heavier springs took care of that pretty well. About the only improvement you can make on that is to add an additonal steel to the bottom of the stack to keep the first friction ears from bending on the radius of the backet ears and re-adjust it and you should be good for a long time. Good idea to rotate the stack while you are in there.
