You would not want to use a chain/sprockets.
I wouldn't want to see any mud/water with a supercharger, but if it was a must, direct driven off the crank would be the best option. But then a roots style like that would be too awkward. You would want a small centri (I don't even know if they are available) and mount it solid to the engine with the snout right against the flywheel, directly driven off of a hub.
Here is a centrifugal supercharger in a typical mounting, belt driven. Automotive application.
Here is a direct drive, or "gear driven":
If a small centri was offered, it would be pretty easy to mount on one of these bikes. Make a mounting ring that bolts to the stock flywheel cover location for the blower to mount to, then make a hub like he did in the above pictures for the drive.
