KTM 440 engine swap

Nothing turns heads more in the Uk than a road legal quad.

Same here in the Netherlands, a nice road legal quad is a real head turner. I love riding through a big city
Not to mention al the girls who want to ride as passenger....

And from 0 to 60 there is almost nothing that can keep. My KTM tops at 145km/h = 90mph.

That 440ktm conversion also looks very nice. I have never heard of a 440cc 2-stroke from KTM, I do know the 380,500 and 540 engines.

The 440 was only made in 94-95.The bottom end is same as the 500/540/550.The 440 uses the 500 92mm piston with a shorter stroke rod.Basicly its a rev happy 500.

That thing is awsome! Im actually in the middle of doing the same build. Ive had the frame fabbed for the kickstarter and throttle cable. If i need any help or if i have any questions would you help me out? What rad did you use? How did you get the motor to fit in between the swingarm. If there are any obvious things i should know, Please. This is my first hybrid build. Thanks.
