400ex shocks?

Just did a search to see if 400ex front shocks will fit on a cannibal and seen lots of different answers, so was wondering if anyone knows for sure if they will fit or not-one guy said you just need 2 washers for the top mount,another says to use the top bushings from the stock dale shock, another says they won't fit, whats the deal?:confused:

The upper mounts on the 400ex are a little narrower than on the Dale. Washers should work ok, or if the shocks are Ohlins, you could replace the upper bushings with Cannondale bushings.

Jeff@Quadshop probably has the bushings you need.

Use the top dale bushings. They work perfect. Anyone who would choose washers and the 400ex bushings over the dale's thich ones is on crack.
