vent tube???

vent tube???

i was working on my quad and noticed a vent tube that runs down the 1x1" aluminum square support on the left side right by the + side of the battery, no biggie, but i decided to see what it went to, to my supprise it went to nothing, obviously what every it was plugged into, it came off, i havent removed plastices and tank yet, any ideas??:confused:

It's a catheter so you don't have to stop while racing a long race. Cannondale thought of everything!

Oh No not that!It is your tranny vent hose goes on the top of the side cover.Or could be the one that goes to your ECU but I bet it is tranny vent.

yeah tranny vent.happened to me once to:confused:
top of the sidecover you will see the tube it belongs on.i used a small ziptie around it to prevent it from coming off again

Sorry you had to drop the motor man. I was confused.:confused:

Really though, sure is cold. supposed to be like 30 here tonight. Had to stick a shop light under the old mercruiser, and drain the sprinkler pump. Boy, cold weather is a lot of work.:drink:
