Race fuel woes..
Race gas issue.
i'm going to be running race gas probably 50/50 mix with 93 octane. the race gas i got is Vp112 octane. i was todl to run this in the engine im having done, a WWE engine, i was just worried that id witness the swelling of the gas tank fitting orings and other problems.
I want this year to be very successful for me without any problems, and this just seems like it oculd be one in the works.
so what do you guys do to stop these lines from swelling? or will they swell with this mix? How do i know they are doing that? and what can i do to fix them?
ive got the gas tank and new orings or ne thing in the fittings would be good to tell me now cos i got it sittin on my floor with no quad together yet..
so what do i do? i was told to run the race fuel, so i guess i have to, what do you do?

race fuel
i was told not to use vp fuel to use unocal 76 100 octane that you can get from the pump not all 76 stations.vp fuels tend to leave harmful deposits. I do not see a problem useing unocal 76 fuel.

93 amaco is all mine sees, i was told by my dealer that you could actually lose hp with higher octane fuel because is burns slower and since the c-dales turn 11000 rpm that it could actually lose a hp or 2, i know some guys swear by it, but usually the higher octane fuel takes the bite off the dale and actually makes it more ridable, i have alwys ran 93 and do not plan on changing it
