i think that i would just make my own or not even use one, i have rebuilt mine and you can just flop it around on the bench and jam a 2x4 under it and set it just about any way you want

The stand is VERY HANDY for someone working on these motor all the time. Yes, you can do it on the bench, just makes it much easier to do on a stand. You can also use an ATV frame cradle, just lift the back of the motor up, and tighten the bolts down. Not as handy as being able to tilt it and all the good stuff, but still not bad.
As for a price on a stand, a buddy of mine looked at it one day and said he could build one for around $250 out of steel. I would not be making a dime on this, nor would I try. If someone wants one, and there is a small demand, I will talk with him and see if he will make a few. No big deal either way, but I know cdalepilot is looking for a stand. Anyone got one for sale?
