Steering Stem Bearing/bushings

#1 Post by RetroZ »

I need to replace my steering stem bearing and bushings. Has anyone crossed referenced this with anything? Haydug said he uses a 400ex setup from BigWinky. I can't remember the $. Looking to go the cheap way, like everyone else. I might just stay OEM.

I think they are like $50 or so from Wink. And then next time it goes you just have to get a bearing.

I went w Winky's set up and it is well worth the money. No play and no chance of that bearing coming out unless you want it out. Fit in PERFECTLY!

I did a review of it on here and it has worked flawlessly over a season of XC, so well that I got em on both the new bikes.
You won't be dissapointed.

Ben

IF you do want the old POS way, I have two brand new ones, both in a bag, if you are interested....I don't want em. make ya a deal

I just checked his website and they are $75. They look like a pretty good setup. Might have to check into one.
