Ball joint removal?????

What is the best wayto remove the ball joints on a moto? Preferably without tearing up the old ones.

Can it be done without removing the A-arms?

I think the design of the A-arms/ball joints is the same for all C'dales. The moto ball joints just offered more articulation. C'dale had a special tool that I believe would allow you to remove the ball joint without removing the arm. That's provided your able to get it loose from the spindle and have access to the tool. I don't think most of us have the tool, so...

I removed the arms and used a vise, a couple sockets, and a hammer to get the ball joints out of the arms. It worked very well, but I am open if someone has a better way!
