1500 sq ft house, Gas: hot water heat, hot water tank, stove, dryer . Just hooked up a wood burner to the hot water heat system this year. We now keep the house about 72 - 75. Jan. bill was $12.45, and Feb was 25.00. The wood came off of my MX track that needed to be removed anyway. BEST WINTER I EVER HAD.

1800 sq ft finished. 23 days straight 32 for a high or lower w/ -5 to 10 above for lows. The house stays at 65 all day till 5pm and goes to 70 till 10pm then shuts down to 65 till 5pm next day. 132 bucks through questar nautral gas. Questar owns it's own natural gas fields in Utah and Wyoming and they have huge storage areas (Somewhere) but if they run low they have to buy natural gas on the open market for about 25-50% higher then what they can get if for by drilling themsleves.. My electric bill was 65 that same month (JAN). I have a new Kenmore dryer that shuts the dryer off when it senses the clothes are dry so energy is not wasted. 6 loads a week run in dryer and everybody knows if the dryer isn't gas (mine isn't) it's the biggest cost for electric..
