I've got a crank out of an 03 motor with less than 2 hours on it, I'll let it go pretty cheap if someone needs it.
The motor it came out of was built in Aug 02.

I was told this technique by a old crankbuilder he does all the warranty work for Yamaha.
With crank on the bench on a rag grab hold of the rod with two fingers lifting very slightly(just rod) take a small rubber mallet and tap the end of the rod if it makes a metal to metal clank even slightly rod bearing is shot.A good one you hear the mallet tap the rod nothing more.
