Front shock problem

#1 Post by Fullbore 350x »

I was out riding today, and i noticed that I kept going alittle sideways off of some jumps. So i got off and checked my front end, and my front left shock was stuck halfway compressed down. I would lift the front end off of the ground and it would barely decompress. What is wrong with it, they have always had shockwares on them. And its not cold enough to freeze the oil in the shock.

They are the Ohlins. I am wanting to get a long travel front end soon, so hopefully these hold up for alittle longer.

LOL, well the a-arms move like they are suppose to. So its something wrong with the shock. They make a grinding kind of noise, like there is dirt or something up in them when I push the front end down. What could that be?

Sounds like a bent shaft, or the bushing in the seal head is damaged.

Well the shaft isnt bent, so it could be the bushing or whatever. Is there anyway for me to beable to tell?
