i think it started as an overtorqued tranny cart plate bolt.the area around where it threades in was cracked in 3 places and lead right to this crack.the crank that was in this engine was way out of balance and will rattle your teeth out so i dont think that helped any either.motor ran fine like this to.lol.leaked a lil' earl do!!!

That crack ran all the way around to the side cover....front AND back! The weird thing was, it still ran strong!:wow Oh yea,:welcome: :ride:

Jason is this the same motor in which you were breaking the lip off the sleeves from a bad O-Ring groove?If so that could also have hurt the case.It would have tried to pull cylinder off when head was torqued.
