Tie Rod ends

How the **** am i supposed to get these things off.....I cant seem to get the tie rod ends off the tie rods amd i doing something wrong are they backwards threaded geeze no matter what i do they wont budge

Two are reverse threaded, two aren't. One of mine was really hard to break loose. I had to get a long rod to put through the other end and twist.

has anyone tried ordering them from summit racing???? what was the part number??

they are also really expensive arent they? supposidly from summit they are only 5 dollars

rod end supply has lots of different options. their best ones are about $15 each. i have the part # for both the right and left hand ones in here somewhere, kevlar/teflon lined or something. you can try the ones from summit but you usually get what you pay for. timbomoose should have some stockers if you want to go that route, you get the stud and spacer with those.

Decided i needed new tie rods anyway said scxrew it and bought them from rod end supply 56 dollars plus shipping
