#1 Post by guthrie08 »

will the walsh clamp for oversize handlebars fit a stock steering stem. also are there any grease zerks on the steering stem, what do you guys use to grease it up to stop it from squeking when turning.

No grease zerks, but if it gets bad you can do 2 things. One take some wd-40 or lubricant of your choice and spray it on the bushing at the top of the stem then spray each tie rod end (if they are non stock) then spray the bearings atthe bottom of the stem. I usually do this before every race. The bushing at the top of the stem can also be lubed by taking the bracket off and putting grease in there. Like you should do for the a-arm bushings. Takes time, but definitely works!

thanks derno, do you have to buy walsh's steering stem to use their fatbar clamp, or does the fatbar clamp fit a stock cannondale stem.
