Find an FMF Ti, like what came on the Moto, or a Black Widow Flow exhaust... Timbo says the HMF full system performs just about as well as the FMF Ti... Avoid slip ons for power gains..

Full systems: $410 for the HMF Sport (our usual one), or $440 for the HMF Ironman Pro AL, or HMF Ballance Pro AL
Add $20 for various available colors... see more details at www.hmfengineering.com ...just email or PM to order, and a $50 deposit is required -- allow 2 weeks. The lifetime after-sale service, directly from HMF, is hard to beat. You just call them any time for a return authorization (for any reason), and they fix you back up cheaply and quickly, with a new looking pipe in a crisp new carton (they even toss in a new clamp, decal, etc.). The HMF's are quite economical to own longterm... and the more you beat up your exhaust, the more you save! LOL.

Not to hijack this post but what if you have done a port job already and the header matches. Would you still have more gains with a full system after the fact?

You may, depending on what you are moving to, but to optimize power you would need to port match the new header also...
