what are these wires for?

here are 3, red white and blue wires that are located on the right side of the cylinder head. Could anyone tell me what they are for?

If I am not correct they are the leads for the o2 sensor. They are not used.

Okay, I don't think I've ever seen those on any of mine, I'll have to look again. Those were early '02's or all of them?

I believe there was a service update for those o2 sensor wires.

That's for the molecular afterburner heating unit. An early 01 experiment gone wrong.

hey man. Well, I got laid off, summer and fall sucked down here, it rained alot, so I decided to sell the quad and pay off the personal loan I had.

looking to get a 450r or a new Cannon in the spring though! :head:

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I hope things look up so that you can find something to ride. For me, the best way to relieve stress is to ride down the road to the local MX track. If you get something would you head out to any of the group rides? After all, you haven't seen the moto in a while... I'm considering having a group ride around here for us midwest guys.
