I would hold on to that bad boy! The disc's will calm it's bark when you need to and then you have the power to unleash when noise isn't an issue. :usa

I agree the FT/TC kicks butt!Although I got more top end hp with 02 headpipe and piece of junk Big Gun.Low end was less.I now have the FT on 02 headpipe and it seems to have more top end than Big Gun.I think the different headpipes make a big difference in where power is made. When my head gets back I will be dynoing the 02,03 and moto Ti headpipes on the FT so we will see.

Get whatever's cheaper.

By the way, if you have the FMF and you want to quiet it down a few decibels without sacrificing power, get a hold of wistech and ask him to build you a turndown. I rode mine a Pismo with the turndown only, and with the turndown with wistech's silencer. With both installed, it's INCREDIBLY quiet - probably 3 to 5 db quieter than a toaster! With just the turndown, it's about the same as a toaster, maybe a bit louder.

The silencer assembly does take some snap out of it though.

Keep in mind this is on sand, which sucks up noise. May be louder on hardpack.

I forgot to get it metered. sad.gif
