LSR std travel a-arms on dale dont work with 16" shocks, did any one know that?

how much is a pipe bender? also what type of welder do you need and how much does a welder cost?

and what type of chromoly tubing are you using... can you buy it thru Mcmaster carr?

Pipe bender $75 to $150
Macmaster Carr tubing - heck ya they have the good stuff
You can use a Mig or tig welder $750 or find a buddy who welds.
An ACDC welder could work but they are a pain.
If you have no experience or training in welding this is not a project to learn on.

thats why im glad i have acces to ym school metal shop.....a nice mig welder...pipe benders...surface grinder..lathes..all that good stuff..and you know whats best??.....ive done almsot all of my mig welds on chromoly/steel the same thickness as our a-arms....so they should work out great..thanks alot for the photo and tips wistech...helps me alot.

MMMMM metal shop. Sweet. While your at you should lower your steering stem plate to the bottom of the tube. It will give you better clearance on the tie rods under full compression and give the joints less angle to fight. It also helps with bump steer.

VERY interesting....i shall do......and yeah i need clearance...i bent both my old tie rods........somehow they dont like 65ft tripples????

Need tie rods? I am building a couple sets of stainless steel ones out of some high speed air cyllinder rods. My ASR ones have been through the mill too. lol
