I'm not really up on all the differant pipe combos, but my Moto has the FMF and it has a mount that people tend to put on the wrong side of the mounting tab. The HMF I put on my Speed dosen't have this mount and the muffler has two brackets that bolt to the sub frame. I notice a lot of people (includeing me) don't use the clamp that they give you. Well after beating arond the bush here i'll get to my thought. If mine was hitting I would see if I could push the pipe away from the frame by hand and if it will move I would then use the clamp you get with the pipe and hold the pipe inward while tightening the clamp. you may have to loosen the muffler sothe pipe will move and it may come to bending the brackets on the muffler sligtly.
