thanks jasp, what kind of camera is that, and how much did it set you back?

That was with a Canon 10D that was about six+ years old. I was shooting with a 70-300mm f1.2 lense. I really needed a PL filter, but had to make due without.

I just sold all my gear to get a Canon 20D system. So this was borrowed. The lense, body, battery extension and speed flash probably run about $3500 to replace. Plus the 1GB 80x speed cards I was shooting with.

nice, I was thinking of taking some photography classes as an elective at my college because its always been kind of an interest, but I just dont have the money at the time to spend on camera equip. etc.

I was lead photograhper in high school and even got accepted to a specailty college for art/jouranlism/photography. I skipped it and went into network admin. Now I'm trying to change that.
