rpm axle help

Shocks, a-arms, swingarms, tires, brakes, etc..

heres what happens when i put the rpm axle locknut on, the threaded sleeve goes into the locknut and it separates away from the brakehub. i cant push it closer to tighten it down either. i hope these pics help, because im lost.

wait, did you put the snap ring on AFTER you put the lock nut on? because it won't go past there.

First do this. Put the threaded piece into the lock nut. Slide it all the way on to the carrier hub. Slide the snap ring on. now, turn the lock nut OUTWARDS until the threaded piece unthreads from inside the locknut, thus pressing itself against the brake hub. This keeps it tight. hand tighten the lock nut off, then give it a few twists with the tool provided. if this doens't work PM me ill help you out better, i have had a lot of problems before with this crap, got some pics from before too..

im following the steps by Cdaleracer and i cant get my snap ring on after putting the lock nut on, there dosent seem to be enough room, even after hitting the axle in with a rubber mallet. any solutions and what problem will i have next lol rolleyes.gif

did you remove all the washers you may have added?

yeah, make sure you took out the seal on the right side ( chain side ) of the brake carrier, i forgot to take that out too!)

use a screw driver n pry it out, then slide the axle in and it should pop on!

thanks alot for all the help, so i dont need to put that washer/seal back in after taking it out, rpm includes their own seal on their sprocket hub?

you know, i'm not quite sure, but i think the sprocket hub actually slides into the groove where the seal was.. jason, help me out here?
