i got an offer for a partial trade on my fun runner(toyhauler)
trade Cannondale Glamis + money(of course)
is this a good deal, and before i get into this, i need to know that there are stock parts or aftermarket parts for ANYTHING that may break or otherwise be replaced
another Q:
how does the Glamis compare to my quad:
Honda 400 EX
11:1 high compression piston
port&flow
Stage 1 hotcam
custom open-air mounting plate for air filter/intake
some clutch improvements

You can't even compare them. The glamis will be faster and handle the same if not better. If you're running stock shocks on the 400, the glamis ohlins will be much better.
As fo the deal, I guess it all depends on how much money goes in with the Glamis. I think you're the only person that can decide if its a good deal b/c you know how much you paid for the toy hauler and how much you can really get out of it. I guess a good starting point would be figuring out how much the Glamis is worth. I can't help you there. Remember that the glamis is probably the most reliable models from cdale b/c they were the last off the line and had most of the updates. Still no guarantee though. There are parts and goodies available from Haydug, ATK, Blackwidow, ...etc. Check the site sponsors. Haydug can get you pretty much everything you need for it.

Good idea. Read up and become familiar with the info here and on www.cannondaler.com . I'll be the first to admit that the cannondale is not the quad for everybody. ****, it may not even be the quad for me. But the first time I rode it, I was hooked and get that same feeling everytime I ride it. With the time and money that I have, maybe something with a little less maintanence would be appropriate, but for now, I'll sacrifice the maint aspect for the thrill of the ride.
