I think I also must comment about this "little pin". I have seen a few of these damaged when removing them, seems some people are not aware that there is a square end and a round end. Also, do not force the gear onto the pin, if it doesn't slide right on, pull the gear off and see why, don't hammer it on!! The pin likes to slide around, being a pain in the arse sometimes, so a little assembly lube usually does the trick here.
