I agree probably bent.

Well hopefully I'll get some time this week to tear into the head. Lexus has been taking up all of my free time.

Any idea on how a valve could have possibly bent? Motor was in perfect time when pulled.

You sure piston was in right way?Rod not bent?Unlikely but timing way off at some point?

I had a pickup with somewhere around a 100k on it when a valve stuck open. one little tap and it closed and ran fine. I tore it down and found an imperfection on the vavle stem
