Here we have number plates on the grabbar wich are mounted at an 90 degree angle, so you can read/see them from the side.

OK SlOoT,
What is that? I knew you were in to odd stuff being here on the cannondaleriders site but that is a little too different ohmy.gif

Jup, that is the No.1 racing quad here in Europe, most of them have a CRF450 dirtbike engine.

No front tire scrub?

I take it the front suspension does hold up on a MX track

Looks like the rear shock is mounted on the side of the swinger or is there two?

How was the price on it compared to the dales when they were selling new?

Sorry 'bout hijacking the thread, I have just never seen this before, are they still produced? with the A arms coming out the front like that it seems that if you were to hit something at the same angle as the arms come out they might not respond as intended.

Those quads are still produced, for this year they even have a "new" model with some small changes.

The front-end is designed so that the wheels do not scrub. And the rear-end has 2 shocks.

At an average mx-race these quads are about 25%-50% of the starting grid. They hold up realy well, I have never seen any of them break.

The MSRP on one with a CRF450 engine is 17.000 Euros, thats close to 25.000 Dollars.
However, the Cannondale Moto had a MSRP here of 16.900 euros.

Here is another hand-made racing quad from the Netherlands:

About the same price as an W-tec, only these sell in only real small numbers. I think there are more Cannondales here in Europe then VLS quads.

sorry bout the hi-jack also. I just never thought that front suspension on the eraser would hold up. Its hard to tell from the pics but, I don't see what they have at the piont of the lower ball joint.

On the VLS. the pic of the rear swing-arm looks a lot like the dale carbon fiber set-up
