Ryanstones: Is there anyway you could explain how you routed the cable? I have tried several different ways and I still have no free play.

Hey derno, it's been 8 months but i just went and looked. the routing diagram that came with the short cable would not work for me. From the lever i went across the stem and down the right side, over the radiator and that's it. I remember having to try 2 different routes. I have moved the kill button (ECU500) to the inside of the clutch lever perch, allowing me to move my lever maybe 1/2" to the inside. Maybe that makes a difference. Also, i'm sure you have the midcable adjuster full slack. Wish i could be more help!

Thank you for the help. I finally got everything in order now and the routing is just right.

I still have full slack, but now at least it has some free play in it.
