i would make them for materials and a little for labor, they are very simple to make. the only problem is that I am on 10 hour days at work, i just finished rebuild #3 tearing into #4 and i still have mine to do. I will not get to building the skis till after the snow is gone.
there is really no way of doing that, you would have to go right off the spindle, and mount it solid. It is easy on the cannondales since that uave the front brake parking brake, on my honda i had to zip tie the front brakes
You can buy a really nice sled for that price.Never been on a quad that you could drive at 100mph with one hand in snow.Plenty of sleds will do that.Plus you are protected from wind and cold on sled.So I would say no comparison.
