blowing fuses

Man i wanted to ride today but couldnt....i alrready did a search on this topic but couldnt get any real good awnsers.When i try to start the dale the fule pump turns on and everythng but when i try to press the start button it makes a buzzing noise and trys to crank. sencond time its just the buzzing noise then it blose the fuse. it was running perfect when i put it away befor i went on vacation but when i came home after one week without starting it this happens... i hope i can fix it before the weekend. still have to put a starter in my truck :mad: wow i have no luck lol
also can i use a bigger fuse the a 25 amp? just wondering because this is what was in it when i bought it.

Try running a jumper cable direct to starter.Be quick about taking it off if it doesnt turn over because it could get real hot.Sounds like two things could be going on here either your motor is locked up.Or the starter may be shot.I think its starter.Also are you sure the wires are connected right at solenoid?

Pull the plug and make sure the cylinder isn't full of oil. It sounds like hydrolock.

Mine did the same thing and it was the voltage regulator. I wouldn't rule that out atleast. Sounds identical to what happened to one of mine. Let it sit while engine was rebuilt, and it'd buzz, try to crank, then blow the fuse.

Thanks. I fixed it yesterday or the day before that. A wire had a slice in it so i fixed that and chaged all the batts and presto it was up and running
