ATK605 quad vs DS 650

I spoke w/ two guys who prototyped both quads back in the mid 90's or so here in Utah. Dave Lindsay Utah's #1 pro and Brian who was the number 1 pro 5 years ago.. I talked w/ both of them on two different occassions.. They said the ATK handled like a dream and had awsome power. Dave and Brian stretched the frame, lower frame rail below motor, doing some 100ft jumps. Suspension was awsome...There was three French guys from Bombardier watching them test both machines.. They, Brian and Dave, said the ATK had some minor things that needed working on, but they said it was a mistake that the DS came out and the ATK didn't...

im a little lost on this one
is this sumething new now or is atk doing sume testing on a new atv

This was on the ATK quad that most of us have only seen pics of..

Are you saying that the DS was designed after the ATK or... ??

Dave and Brain rode these quads back to back.. I didn't drill them for the exact year it happened. The DS had lots of aluminum one off parts on it as it was in the prototype stages..
