Check those rotor bolts!
On any other quad I have worked on it has been impossible to remove the front rotor bolts with out ruining them.
But yesterday while riding we were ripping down an easy strech of trail when my left front wheel just locked up. I flew forward pinning the throttle with my knee. My Cdale tried to flip end over but the right front was rolling and allowed it to spin to the side instead.
I ended up tumbling off hard and the quad finished it's rotation with the rear tires landing on my chest/helmet. My stupid kill switch didn't release so the tires were still spinning fast. I was like 'AHHHHHHHH!!!' But as soon as it hit my helmet it stalled.
My buddy on a Warrior riding behind me jumped off and was asking if I was OK. He hadn't been riding in a long time. I'm sure he sucked his quad up into his rear when he saw it. He seemed more scared than I was hurt.
I was under my quad telling him 'check my tie rod, or A-Arm. I think I broke one.'. But he seemed more interested in getting my quad off me.
Anyway, they seemed to feel that I hit a root or stump and it threw me. I didn't think so, but what could I say? So I jumped back on, threw it into gear and took off. It instantly stopped again. After standing it up and trying to turn the wheel we discovered that a rotor bolt had backed out and was stopping when it hit the brake caliper.
I rode another quad back to camp, got some tools and Loc-Tite. Rode back fixed it and finished out the day.
Beyond the five flats I had it was a great day of riding. I am a little sore and bruised but ready to ride again.

Isn't that the truth! It seems like a lot of folks (on all kinds of quads) have been seeing some silly problems.
It's late in the year, I wonder if maintnence is getting a little sloppy. I feel like that is the problem in my case. I checked those bolts before Sparta and have not gone over my machine since. But that's what I am doing tonight!
I had a similar problem on a brand new one- I think it had like 3 hours o it at the time. My finding it was a little less painful though!
I was rolling it out of the garage to load it into the truck for a race. The timing for finding it couldn't have been much better! Another 20 rolling minutes, I'd have been racing!
