installing swingarm

#1 Post by cannondalerhino »

Ok here is the problem, I started to put my ride back together since I got back my motor from timbo. Got a new swingarm from
LSR and they said that I didn't need the bushings for the pivot bearings. Well of coarse there is a lot of play so I hope I can find
them. also the swing arm itself moves side to side like it needs a couple washers or something(space between arm pivot, motor, and frame) What to do?

pivot points

I measured it cannondale27 like u said and i got
1&5/8 on the stocker and 1&6/8 on the lsr.
Is there play from side to side because i don't have
the metal bushings and spacers? because there is a good deal of room between motor& swingarm, and swingarm&frame
I forgot what it looked like with the stocker on there.

Most aftermarket components are made to work along with stock pieces...especially if teh replacement aftermarlet part replaces somethign that has a lot of pieces. So id say youd be set if you get all the stock stuff.
Also dont get bummed....i got my dale all together for the first time in voer a eyar...and guess what i ahd to do the evry next day????....PULL THE MOTOR......lol. I know how yah feel...so close to having it running...excpet for one little darn problem. It happens...but thats what this site is for.
